Regular grooming is essential to ensuring that your playing surface looks great, is in top condition, plays consistently, and is safe and enjoyable to play on.
Here at Love Your Court when we say 'Grooming" for astro courts we mean more than just a brush.
When we groom a court we lift the infill and sieve out any debris, dust and tennis ball fluff, stand the fibres up and then relay the infill back down. This reduces the risk of compaction, glazing, M.M.A.D build up and improves surface drainage.
Grooming isn’t just a cosmetic treatment for your court, it is at the heart of preventing the premature loss of pile, deterioration of drainage, compaction and the establishment of M.M.A.D trouble spots.
Meet Rosie - She's our walk behind unit that undertakes several key processes in one pass:
She sweeps up ingrained debris including moss, algae, weeds, and rubbish.
She sieves out the debris for complete removal.
She allows clean sand to filter back through the sieves into the surface.
She separates and stands the synthetic fibres upright.
She improves surface infiltration
After Rosie has done her work Our final step is to brush your court with a drag brush to make sure that the relayed infill is redistributed properly and your court is looking amazing and ready for you to play on.
